Ham and eggs Christmas

Story in a nutshell: the husband and I were part of a Church Xmas play where we played a little girls toys- a piggy bank and a chicken. Hilarity ensued. Three glorious nights of performances passed as well as an anniversary spent in full costume. It was epic.
We decided to make thank you/Xmas cards to thank the rest of the cast and well, here it is. :)

Going to an art charity auction in San Francisco and a friend told me I'm going to donate a piece, haha! I get no choice! I was told rough sketches and sketch work was preferred, so here we are.

Don't mind the fact this chicks head is as big as an onion. Quick textless psuedo storyboard work to share as well as true boards for an airline e-card pitch.

Sketch dump!

I just bought a pair of new sketchbooks today, so naturally it had me nostalgically flipping through the old ones I'd filled. I came across some sketches I felt like re-doing and some old projects that seemed worth sharing. Enjoy. :)

I came across this OLD sketch (left) from 2002 that cracked me up. Don't you just love old work that makes you go, "Oh gawd...did I think that looked good?" I tried my hand at redrawing the nameless bloke because it seemed a disservice to leave him in a state of de-evolution.

There was an old unlaunched MMO by the name of Gods & Heroes that I did art for. The fan site for it was looking for new and interesting player art to showcase and thus far the bulk of the work was stuff done on lined binder paper. I'm not going ot knock any of the art, but c'mon- lined binder paper? I researched the player archetypes and decided to showcase a line up of all the playable types involved. The gladiator is still my favorite. He has such a Homer Simpson vibe to me.

The completed piece is below (and in hindsight seems to be lacking a snazzy 'Gods & Heroes title, no?)

Sequentials and shenanigans

Ever since I've been working & playing in VOID and brushing up on that ever so lovely art that is sequentials, talk and brainstorming concerning Undeadninjas has been going on. With writers old and new at my side and my slowly leveling skills, here's hoping our brainstorming soon becomes reality. But hey, while you're waiting, feel free to check out the site as is- its still up. You'll be able to see all our old junk which was originally drawn by Valerie Losea and later picked up by myself. :)
But enough talk- lets see some comics!

Oh and if you want to check out the ghetto FABULOUS process in which I work, feel free to check out my Flickr account- brought you by boredom and the letter T. =D

Testing, 1,2,4...

Whew, haven't been back here in months. Totally forgot about this place until I figured, "Hey, you don't have to feel compelled to post master pieces here. Nobody to impress. Just do whatcha like." and what do spoons like? Sketch and doodle blogs! So, while I wrack my brains with html and the like, consider this my test post of sketch sharing wonderousness. Enjoy!

In other news, (and as you can see above) the summer festival event over at GaiaOnline has come to an end. It was a big wet bash of online awesome and a fellow artist and I dished out some free art in a self made chat thread to have our water balloon team look styling as they posted their support!

She Arrives!

Ahoy there fellow Bloggers! Kassandra here and here to stay! I've noticed alot of my friends and people I watch have Blogger accounts and, unable to comment on their wonderful artwork, I was compelled to make a Blog of my own. I figure, since I'm here I should make the most of it no?

Oh don't worry, I wont be too much of a burden. I'm housebroken, have a cheerful disposition and love to entertain. I'm sure we'll be the best of friends!
