Did you know back in the 15th Century, Japanese people afflicted by nightmares would call upon the baku spirits to come and eat their bad dreams for them? I've always loved these things and I'm wondering why I haven't really drawn one until now. Dig it.

Halloween Hoopla

Trying out some colored shading. It's outside my comfort level and what I'm used to, but I dig the effect. Maybe I'll go nuts and try light sources from different locations. GASP!

Quick little commission of Hercules with one happy fan. Tried to match the animated movie style as well as I could. After spending an hour staring at Herc, totally gotta watch the movie! (EDIT- added a couple details since the flat Disney look I tried made them look like souless zombies)
