Merry Christmas!

A very Merry Christmas and a happy 2011 to all from sunny L.A! Well, it's kinda raining non-stop right now, but for all you non Californians, you know this is what we Cali folk do. Surf all day and make sandmen for Christmas. Dig it.

Fun Fact: My husband hates sand. Almost as much as the beach, but not as much as sunshine. Ain't I a stinker?

Really enjoyed making this card- almost as much as the last one I did a Christmas or two ago. I really hope to make this a fun habit. Not to mention I love the reactions this gets when you see it next to other Christmas cards!

The old Grind

Blast from the past! Found the old doodles I did of me and a close co-worker from back in my coffee days. Don't miss the work, but I DO miss the free java Win some, lose some.

Prance prance prance

Ain't got no time to smile. I gotta get my prance on!

Post Halloween Purples

It's the first of December and I miss Halloween already. Sigh.

Baku

Did you know back in the 15th Century, Japanese people afflicted by nightmares would call upon the baku spirits to come and eat their bad dreams for them? I've always loved these things and I'm wondering why I haven't really drawn one until now. Dig it.

I'm just a jellybean girl in a jellybean world

In Toontown there is no money. Oh, Toons still pay for the best seltzer bottles, cream pies and squirting flowers, but they do so with Jellybenas: the worlds tastiest currency! Should you cross paths with a Toon Trooper (Toontowns GMs), expect some candy riches coming your way because they're always giving out beans!

Go Play Toontown!

Halloween Hoopla

Trying out some colored shading. It's outside my comfort level and what I'm used to, but I dig the effect. Maybe I'll go nuts and try light sources from different locations. GASP!
